What is Fiberglass Filter Mesh?

Fiberglass Filter Mesh is made of high temperature resistant fiber, woven and processed by special technology. There are kinds of products series with advanced technology and stable quality.

Application type:

● Filter cloth in roll (white & brown, without/with coating) : It can be fixed in the aluminum liquid flow tank, used for aluminum ingot, aluminum rod, aluminum strip and other continuous casting workshop to purify aluminum liquid.

● Cutting mesh (brown, coated with resin): Square, round, fan and other heteroideus mesh cutted just according to client’s requirements. Used for filtering aluminum castings and placed in the gating system.

● Cylinder, cap and other special shapes (brown or black, coated with resin or carbonized): used for low pressure casting, such as aluminum alloy wheels, engine cylinder head and so on.

● Smokeless filters (black carbonization treatment): no combustion, smokeless, low gas output during the filtration process, for high quality requirements of casting production, such as aluminum alloy piston.

What is application of fiberglass filter mesh?

There are quality problems, such as: slag holes, sand holes and gas holes due to various reasons in casting production of steel castings, iron castings, aluminum castings and other alloy castings.

Therefore, the removal of non-metallic inclusion in metal melt is of great technical and economic value to improve the yield of castings and the quality of castings.

● Widely used in automobile and motorcycle wheels, cylinder pistons, aluminum rods, aluminum materials, aluminum ingots, aluminum plates and precision casting of all types of aluminum alloy casting. 

● High Silica Fiberglass Filter Mesh is ideal for in-mold filtration of gray, malleable, white, compacted graphite and ductile cast irons, as well as non-ferrous aluminum and copper-based metal alloys and many types of small scale steel casting filtration.

● Used in sand casting, permanent mold, shell mold, draw mold and investment casting.

Carbon fiber cloth is also known as carbon fiber cloth, carbon fiber braided cloth, carbon fiber prepreg cloth, carbon fiber reinforced cloth, carbon fiber fabric, carbon fiber tape, carbon fiber sheet (prepreg cloth), etc. ● Carbon fiber reinforced fabric is a one-way carbon fiber reinforced product, usually made of 12K carbon fiber yarn.
