● Product: High-temperature carbonized fiberglass cap filter (3D molded cap)

● Available shapes: Round, conical, and square caps with reinforced edges, seamless one-piece forming

● Aperture range: 0.8–2.5 mm (selected per gating design)

● Continuous temperature resistance: ≤ 850 °C, short-term 900 °C — suited for aluminum pouring at 650–750 °C

● Gas evolution: ≤ 30 cm³/g (carbonized, smokeless)

● Packaging: Double vacuum-sealed PE film, export cartons on wooden pallets

Why a molded cap, not a flat mesh?

● Flat mesh sits on top of the sprue and can shift during pour.

● The 3D molded cap drops directly onto the sprue base, stays seated, and gives a larger filtration area per pour point.

● The reinforced edge holds the cap shape under the metal stream, while the open-cell structure provides high porosity and slag absorption.

● The carbonized version removes organic binders — no visible smoke when aluminum first hits, which matters on automated lines with laser level sensors.
