What is high temperature carbonized black fiberglass filter mesh?

● Fabric mesh is woven from non-alkali fiberglass yarn.

● Then, it undergoes high-temperature anaerobic carbonization heat treatment to burn off all the surface organic adhesives, pastes, and flammable components, thereby solidifying it and creating a black. 

● It is specific filter net and high-temperature-resistant for aluminum liquid.

What is processing principle?

● It is woven into mesh base cloth with alkali-free fiberglass yarns, then put into a sealed high-temperature furnace for oxygen-free carbonization.

● All organic binders and slurry on the surface are completely burned off.

● A dense carbonized layer is formed on fiberglass surface to enhance hardness and high temperature resistance, finally finished into black filter mesh.

What are its core features?

1. Color: Entirely black 

2. Temperature resistance: Up to 850℃. The aluminum material will not deform or collapse even after being poured. 

3. Usage: The cold network can be directly poured into the gate without preheating. 

4. Usage effect: Smokeless, odorless, low gas emission, and does not contaminate the aluminum liquid 

5. Texture: Firm and sturdy, with few broken threads and little residue falling off. 

6. Can be freely cut: Circular, square, and irregular shapes can all be cut.

What are main differences among white, yellow and black order mesh?

1. Ordinary white mesh: Soft and hard to fix it, easy to be out of shape, much smoke, coarse filtration.

2. Ordinary yellow mesh: Cheap, prone to smoke, prone to collapse, and easy to rot at high temperatures. 

3. Carbonized black mesh: High-temperature resistant, smoke-free, durable, a popular and reliable product in foundries.

What is its special application?

● It is specifically designed to filter the aluminum alloy liquid, preventing the oxidation slag from entering during the casting process and ensuring smooth liquid flow.

● This helps reduce the occurrence of pores and slag holes in the castings.

● It is widely used in aluminum wheels, aluminum rods, aluminum profiles, die casting, and gravity casting.
