Silicon carbide ceramic foam filter is a kind of reticulated structure foundry filter which coated with silicon carbide material.They effectively remove inclusions, reduce entrapped gas in the liquid metal and provide laminar flow, resulting in significantly cleaner filtered metal. Therefore, SiC ceranic filters are often used for the filtration of cast iron and non-ferrous alloys.
